We are a family-operated facility that strives to create a caring and comfortable atmosphere for our patients and employees! We are looking for an experienced, Mammographer that can work at our Elk Grove Village and Villa Park location.
As a Mammography Technologist, you will take part in assisting patients with their questions/concerns and helping them prepare for mammographic procedures.
Sign on bonus of 5K to be paid out over the year.
You will be expected to:
Evaluate and interpret captured images effectively Sterilize and maintain mammographic equipment Gain patient cooperation by calming anxieties, providing explanations of imaging procedures/equipment and answering questions/concerns Maintains production and quality of mammograms by following company standards and procedures Responsibly ensure that the patient is comfortable and safe throughout their experience Documents the patient's mammogram services by accurately recording the data in the patient's chart Communicate medical data, patient history and any related information to the appropriate physician.
We are looking for someone that carries the following qualities:
great communication skills Expertise and extensive knowledge in mammographic technology excellent customer service and patient care skills caring and friendly personality comfortable working in a fast-paced environment highly self-motivated Open availability Experience in 3D imaging is preferred but not required License/Certification:
BLS Certification (Preferred) ARRT Certification (Required) Mammography license (Preferred) Quick Apply.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
