( $80-90/HR ) Position Summary Our client has a need for an onsite Project Manager in the IT Data and Analytics team to drive Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) integration projects.
The client is establishing a dedicated data/reporting team to focus on M&A initiatives.
In this role, the Project Manager would be accountable for delivering on integration of data and reporting assets from merger partners within the environment.
The Project Manager would work in close collaboration with the Enterprise M&A Project Manager to carry out multiple M&A projects for the data/reporting tracks by engaging resources within the data and analytics team.
As most initiatives impact division wide technology departments, this position requires a broad knowledge of the company, divisions, and key functions with deeper knowledge and experience in data and reporting platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Direct Integration teams and drive the execution of the project schedule, scope, and budget throughout the project life-cycle.
Will lead the communication plan facilitating project sponsor meetings, team meetings and status reports.
They will provide project presentations to executive leadership groups and review and provide input on project deliverables.
Collaborate with the M&A project team and the merger partner team in due diligence and integration planning activities Develop clear project roadmap, deliverables and milestones for each M&A project aligning with divisional roadmap and plan Bring visibility to key risks and issues, by proactively communicating and engaging key stakeholders to address challenges and coming up with mitigation options Foster high reliability by initiating process improvement opportunities based on past project experiences and leads the business sponsor, stakeholders and project team to identify lessons learned and champions the improvement opportunities.
Execute Project Management processes including change controls and release procedures as per standards Qualifications Required:
Minimum 7 years of IT experience Experience working in the Mergers and Acquisitions Integrations project space.
Experience with data migration, report conversion and integration of data across applications required 7 years of experience managing data and reporting projects, including global teams in multiple locations and time zones.
7 years of technical project management experience focused on global implementations with medium to high level of complexity.
Experience producing detailed project schedules and resource requirements.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - must be comfortable speaking and writing to C-level audiences, as well as technical audiences.
Extensive experience in project reporting, including executive level briefing.
Knowledge of database structures/ data warehousing principles, and experience in SQL across different platforms including structured and unstructured data from various enterprise sources Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field Desired:
PMP and/or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
Prior exposure to Microsoft Azure Technology Stack is a plus.
