The Group is looking for an experienced HR Admin/Executive Assistant to work alongside the Chief Executive Officer, in the Rolling Meadows, Illinois Office.
The Role The position will require the candidate to work closely with Senior Management, covering a wide range administrative support both internally and externally, including some Human Resources Administrative Duties.
Duties may include:
Providing general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
Arrange travel and accommodations.
Diary management, including organising and maintaining complex calendars and schedules.
General administrative tasks such as assisting with electronic file management and website upgrades, developing general policies.
This may also include, conducting research and gather information to support decision-making processes, as requested by the CEO.
Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties globally, including payroll preparation and recruitment.
Dealing with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations globally (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Netherlands and the United States).
Personal errands and other duties as assigned.
The Candidate The ideal candidate has outstanding organizational and time-management skills with strong proficiencies in office management, record and calendar maintenance, travel planning, drafting reports and correspondence, and experience interacting with C-suite executives.
Desirable skills and qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree ideally in HR/Management/Business Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
High attention to detail with a systematic and organised approach to work.
Be flexible in working with people from a range of backgrounds and understanding the needs of the directors and staff members internationally.
Ability to take initiative and think in innovative ways to find solutions to problems.
Basic knowledge of labor laws in the United States with an ability to learn labor laws in our other jurisdictions of operation.
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Exceptional communication skills--verbal, written, and presentation.
Experience working in a family business would be beneficial.

Usual Business hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:
30pm.
However, in order to be successful in the position, you may be required to work additional times to liaise with Head Office and other overseas stakeholders to ensure effective communication amongst the entire team.
This role will involve frequent travel with the CEO, domestically and internationally.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now and at any time in the future.
