Job Description:
location:
Remote (Support EST/CST and sometimes PST; flexible here) Network Enginner with cisco and nokia devices, Night Shift work, we implmenet changes night monday night thru thursday night, for changes.
10 hour shift; available for 2 hours in a day for meetings if change didn't complete successfully to understand what went wrong etc.
we will need reports from Night engineers for that reason we would need this engineer to join meeting but thats not required for every meeting.
cisco ios, nexus and Nokia devices.
candidate should have exp in Nexus 7k 9k, Nokia 7750, familiar with BGP, SIS, and VXLAN routing.
helpful if having 4 Knowledge of 4G call flow is a plus, for example, SGW, PGW, MME will follow MOP Methods of procedure, many times if config is rejected, it involves troubleshooting very good in Layer 1 and 3 troubleshooting.
use monitoring tools to make sure network is stable.
must have exp in Nokia and Cisco.
If getting strong on Cisco and not much on Nokia is also fine.
Prefer to have basic knowledge CCNA level active or certified is fine.
Knowledge on one is basic and advanced on the other.
Most of times Night eng doesn't require for day time meetings.
Only for reporting that we need from the Night engineer.
these are flexible meeting, not have to join every day.
CCNP is required.
CCIE is not required but would be a plus.
