Responsibilities:
Overview:
As an Inside Sales Supervisor specializing in Small Business Insurance, you'll lead and manage a team of 2-5 direct reports, overseeing their performance, driving sales initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our clients.
You'll play a pivotal role in meeting and exceeding sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction within the small business insurance segment.
This position is 60% production and 40% supervision.
Key
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of 2-5 inside sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and ongoing performance evaluations.
Sales Strategy:
Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate the small business insurance market, leveraging market insights, trends, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and drive growth.
Performance Management:
Set clear KPIs, sales targets, and performance metrics for the team.
Monitor individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing strategies to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
Training and Development:
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills within the team.
Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to address them.
Client Relationship Management:
Collaborate with the sales team to nurture client relationships, resolve escalated issues, and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Act as a point of contact for key client accounts.
Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and refine sales processes, identifying opportunities for streamlining workflows, enhancing efficiency, and improving overall team performance.
Reporting and Analysis:
Generate and analyze sales reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
Utilize data to make informed decisions and drive sales strategies.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all sales practices and interactions.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree with 4
years commercial sales experience or High School degree/GED with 8
years commercial sales experience.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
Insurance licensing required.
Proven track record of sales success against company provided sales targets.
Prior experience managing to sales performance metrics, detailed forecasting and production reporting.
Keen understanding of professional and industry standards/practices as well as small business insurance carriers and wholesalers.
