Quality Assurance Specialist
Academy Mortgage Corporation is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our growing Quality Assurance team located in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
Role
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for auditing the loans we sell direct to the Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSE) to ensure they comply with Academy and Government guidelines. All deficiencies found in the audit will be distributed to the branches for corrective action by the Loan File/PTX Auditor. In addition to auditing loan files, Loan File/PTX Auditors will be required to complete intermittent training classes to continually improve skills and knowledge base.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Audits loan files sold direct to the GSEs to ensure they meet Academy Mortgage and Government guidelines
Targets deficiencies in the files and submits stipulations to cure those deficiencies into the stipulation tracker system
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
3
years' experience in mortgage lending with an emphasis in processing and/or loan auditing
Relevant background would include, but not be limited to:
experience auditing loans for defects, processing, or post-closingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
