Imbuesys, Inc. is seeking Database Administrators who will be responsible for database performance, integrity and security. The Database Administrator II will utilize advanced knowledge of database management systems, including knowledge of, and experience with, database administration software, tools and technologies, to administer, test and implement database management systems.
Duties include the following: Plan, develop and troubleshoot databases. Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications. Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes. Perform installation, configuration and administration of database, as well as upgrade of current database to latest version. Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure. Coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations. Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions. Train users and answer questions. Apply patches to existing database. Specify users and user access levels for each database segment and perform database backup and restoration. Schedule, plan, install and test new products and improvements to computer systems such as the installation of new databases. Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project. Assist in development of standards and guidelines to guide the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information.
May perform other duties normally associated with this occupation.
Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or related major that provided the skills, knowledge, and abilities required and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a related position that provided the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
Also requires demonstrable experience with at least one of the following: Informatica, Oracle, or SQL. No travel or telecommuting. Position is project-based at various unanticipated work sites within the U.S., and relocation may be required at the end of each long-term project. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience Is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
