Systems Analysts III (Job ID#SA30315)
Imbuesys, Inc. is seeking Systems Analysts to Assist Project Manager in analyzing computer science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems in order to implement, customize and improve computer systems. Uses advanced level of knowledge of, and experience with, systems analysis processes, tools, and technologies, to perform the following duties: Coordinate the analysis of user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Monitor the expansion, customization or modification of systems to serve new purposes or improve work flow. Coordinate the testing, maintenance, monitoring and installation of computer programs and systems. Assist Project Manager in developing, documenting and revising system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards. Provide guidance and mentorship in solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems. Consult with Project Manager in Analyzing computer printouts and performance indicators to isolate code problems and correct code errors. Consult with Management to ensure understanding on system principles. Coordinate communications with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address. Read manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn how to develop programs that meet staff and user requirements. Provide instructions to team members regarding linking the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and information sharing. Work with Project Manager to determine computer software or hardware needs in order to set up or alter system. May perform other duties normally associated with this occupation.
Requirements: Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Business Administration, Finance or a related major that provided the skills, knowledge, and abilities required and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position that provided the required skills, knowledge and abilities. In lieu of the stated primary education and experience requirements, employer will accept a related Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Business Administration, Finance or a related major that provided the skills, knowledge, and abilities required and 5 years of related progressive post-degree experience that provided the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
No travel or telecommuting. Position is project-based at various unanticipated work sites within the U.S., and relocation may be required at the end of each long-term project. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.
