Systems Analysts I (Job ID#SA10315)
Imbuesys, Inc. is seeking junior-level Systems Analysts to analyze computer science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems in order to implement, customize and improve computer systems. Under close supervision of the Project Manager, performs the following duties: Uses standard occupational knowledge, processes and tools to analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Serves as junior member of project team to expand or modify systems to serve new purposes or improve work flow. Participates in testing, maintaining, and monitoring computer programs and systems. Under close supervision of Project Manager develops, documents and revises system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards. Assists in solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems. Participates in locating and correcting code errors. Receives instruction from Project Manager regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address. Consults manuals and technical reports to learn how to develop programs that meet staff and user requirements. Links the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared. Follows instructions from Project Manager regarding computer software or hardware needed to set up or alter system. May perform other duties normally associated with this occupation.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Business Administration, Finance or a related major that provided the skills, knowledge, and abilities required and 6 months of experience in the job offered or in a related position that provided the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Employer will accept a 3-year or 4-year Bachelors degree. Employer will accept a foreign degree.
No travel or telecommuting. Position is project-based at various unanticipated work sites within the U.S., and relocation may be required at the end of each long-term project. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.
