Imbuesys, Inc. is seeking Database Administrators who will be responsible for database performance, integrity, and security. The Database Administrator III will utilize advanced knowledge of database management systems, including knowledge of, and experience with, database administration software, tools and technologies, to assist Project Manager in administering, testing and implementing database management systems. Duties include the following: Coordinate and monitor database planning, development, configuration, installation, administration and troubleshooting. Monitor the testing of programs or databases, correction of identified errors, and implementation of necessary modifications. Monitor the modification of existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes. Monitor database upgrades to latest version as well as application of patches. After conferring with Project Manager, plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure. Guide database development and determine project scope and limitations. Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions. Train users and serve as point person to answer questions. Lead activities in connection with specifying users and user access levels for each database segment and coordinate database backup and restoration. Assist Project Manager in scheduling, planning, installing and testing new products and improvements to computer systems such as the installation of new databases. Review project requests with Project Manager and describe database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project. Assist Project Manager in development of standards and guidelines to guide the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information. May perform other duties normally associated with this occupation.
Requirements: Masters degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or related major that provided the skills, knowledge, and abilities required and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position that provided the required skills, knowledge and abilities. In lieu of the stated primary education and experience requirements, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or related major that provided the skills, knowledge, and abilities required and 5 years of related progressive post-degree experience that provided the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
Also requires demonstrable experience with at least one of the following skills: Informatica, Oracle or SQL.
No travel or telecommuting. Position is project-based at various unanticipated work sites within the U.S., and relocation may be required at the end of each long-term project. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
