Production & Engineering Technician

Duties &
Responsibilities:
1. Position is responsible for assisting manufacturing & engineering in the production of natural gas engines.
2. Provide assistance to master technician & engineering to streamline processes and increase production.
3. Assist in engine tear-down, assembly, final manufacturing, and testing.
4. Performs work efficiently in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions.
5. Ability to work on multiple projects in the same timetable.
6. Assists with the maintenance of 5S processes within the facility.
7. Assists with shipping & receiving and the control of all parts.
Qualifications &
Experience:
1. AAS Mechanical/Automotive Technology preferred.
2. 1
years of natural gas, gasoline, alternative fuels, or diesel engine component service and repair experience.
3. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
4. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
5. Ability to work with and relate to a diverse population and culture.
6. Computer technology experienced with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
7. A valid drivers license with a history of a safe driving record. CDL preferred.
8. ASE or other engine related certifications.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
