Design Engineer Rolling Meadows, IL. Lead activities with key suppliers and design release of tank and aftertreatment system components. Work with engine controls, base engine, aftertreatment, and applications functional groups. Conduct advanced engine technology projects including analysis, design, procurement, building, and testing of tank and aftertreatment system components. Generate technical solutions for engine/vehicle programs for Turbochargers/EGR Systems/Fuel and other related components.
Requires Masters or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering field and minimum 2 years experience in natural gas, gasoline or diesel engine component development, aftertreatment system development, Creo/ProE/NX design tools, and DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&Rs, APQP, and 8D design release processes.
